Best would be to have more MIDI out ports but also helpfull could be
to fix the midi out port to one programm..... otherwise it is possible that other programms are using and block the 1 Out Port......
(happens when i must shortly close cantabile to restart and then sometimes i have to restart all midi programms.....sure i can bind it directly to a virtual port but a programm internal solution would be nicer and more clearly)
The lock of the port to a specific program is something should happen from the client software side, not form Chameleon side.
Some software not handle this behavior correctly.
I think I can create more MIDI ports, the questions is how many more will be enough.
The default ports remain how are and user can enable then more ports, the ports cant be enable don the fly, need be setup and software restarted, no is a major issue.
I think 5 MIDI in OUT ports are more than ok.
What you think?

5 I think that's enough....(because a user that have more than 5 devices should think about better ways to organize routing)
...for me 1 out and 1 in Port is enough... because I have better overlook if I handle routing, filtering, manipulating in cantabile and then i can send the values directly to the targets....
my only problem is not to know wich program is catching the 1 open port?...... ?
