Hi, just wondering how people manage the MIDI channel or cc numbers when creating/editing Chameleon templates?

e.g. I've added (let's say) 10 sliders/knobs, and I come back in a week to continue adding to it. How would I (or anyone) know what the last used MIDI value (channel or cc) was to pick up where I left off?

Or likewise I delete some knobs/sliders and now I have some free midi cc values. Is there any way to maybe 'auto-increment' the cc value when a new knob/slider etc is added?

If there's no current easy solution or implementation, a feature suggestion could be an option to "Show MIDI values" which displays the MIDI channel and cc/note next to each control.

Hello Karl, I think in some feature cover this issue.

Anyway you can use up to 2048 objects using MIDI CC and 2048 MIDI notes.
0 to 127 x 16 channels.

I suggest at least for now, just remember or take note of the last value you use.
Also you can check in your DAW or software what values are you currently using as a already mapped MIDI.
Not a perfect workaround but helps.

Thanks. I was already noting the midi values used in Chameleon. Checking the DAW was a good suggestion too, thankfully those are listed numerically.
