I am unable to route data from the virtual midi port "chameleon" output to anything other than locally installed software.
RTP midi can see the port but passes no data and "chameleon" will not pass data through USB interface.
I would like the option brought back that allowed selection of preferred MIDI output device.
I need to send data directly to a USB MIDI interface, if there is a way to do this currently please let me know.

Yes there is a simple way, I explained how do this in easy way, is a tutorial for Elephant but apply in the same way to Chamelon, you cna send MIDI to external hardware interface, over network, etc.

I not use RTP midi or thing like that, ans profession MIDI patch bay I use cooperlan or bome.
