Hello! I am trying to use Chameleon on a laptop to send Midi signals to another computer running the video editing software VMIX. Everything was working okay with Copperlan, but the problem is putting a computer to sleep or restarting with Copperlan totally messed up the configuration requiring a complete reinstall of Copperlan.

I found out about RPTMidi, so installed that on both computers. Everything connects fine with 0 latency, but no midi signals are being sent from one computer to the other in either direction. I've tried using a NanoKorg controller as well on both ends of the connection, and I've tried using a MIDI signal monitor on both computers. Seems that midi messages just aren't getting from one computer to the other.

Both are running Windows 10, they are connected by eithernet to the same router, and, again, they seem to be connecting find with 0 latency. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've tried running RTPMidi as an administrator, I really can't figure out what the problem might be. Any ideas? THANKS!

HEY! Just fyi I've solved this issue, it turns out on the laptop using chameleon I had to set Live Routings to "Chameleon" and "Chameleon." Works great now!

Oh, for sure, if have some free time, always is welcome if users post a faster tutorial how setup.
In your case, how you are using chameleon and how you setup all, if possible with some pics.
