[Solved] Screen Order-Apps

Hi there,

a little Problem with Chameleon and Cantabile but I think this could also happen with other programms.

When I hit a button to change a window (in a hole) in cantabile the result in some cases is

that the last step of viewing is blocked until the focus is on Chameleon.

So the screen is changing only when I touch or click with mouse.

I don't know if it is your part or the part of brad (cantabile) to have the solution for this problem.

I think it should be able to give the focus after a click or movement on chameleon back to the programm in the holes....

maybe you can think about this

You always can use hide button on Chameleon, if you want see something on the software you run under.
Upcoming version also provide a custom hotkey and page buttons support MIDI IN.
About cantabile behaviours with popups Windows, there is nothing I can do about that, I suppose under performance mode, the software not fire popups in constant way, if yes software should count with some option for disable that.

Hi! ...Now all is fine!

Brad made an update and now all racks get focus like expected ....

and Popup for new States is shown on the side Panel so I can see it.

That is a very good news duet really there is nothing I can do with this kind of issues  I very happy to know this issue is solved for you.

Unfortunately, it was only a coincidence that the Popup was on this Position. ?  

But now I solved It with Autohotkey that allows me to set position and focus...... ? 

Brings up the next problem...how to call a Hotkey from commandline ? >> but solved with a little Visual Basic file

I have no experience with programming so it is all a bit tricky

Probably you can take a look also on  https://www.bome.com/products/miditranslator is commercial software but probably you can setup a really advanced behaviours combining MIDI and hotkeys and mouse events and more.

For sure I use a lot MIDI translator pro on my studio, lot of synth machines to control at same time etc

Thanks for the Tip... I have also this Programm and experimented a little bit with this function but I didn't know if it is able and flexible enough to set specific focus to layerd programms like with chameleon.

I tested to start a HotKey in Cantabile when Chameleon is Visible and it didn't work..... I dont know if it is my mistake and Inexperience

I loadet the free version of Visual Studio and built a little *.exe file that I can call from a binding in Cantabile.... I am not a Pro.. but now I am able to sendKeys with this File.

This is my current knowledge stand...

...with the Inject event in BOME it also not works when Chameleon is open .....

so I think it is better for me to learn a little bit about Visual Studio to make my own working functions

The best you can do and also an easy way for the issue is use a window manager(i use actual window manager) in my wmanager i just have to drop it ones to the screen Of my choice and it will stay there... same with preference windows just drop it ones at the position you want and next time you open something it will stay there! a window manager is a time saver for me
