Hi,

A few days ago I posted a message about hitting my activation limit when reinstalling a few times after I ran into some issues with Norton. After my post I received a few more activations, but today my activation was somehow gone and Elephant seems to be back in trial mode. I was still able to reactivate it again without hitting the limit, but the next time I will probably hit the limit again.

For Elephant to work I've excluded the "savethehuman5" folder in Norton and before I fire it up I need to disable "data protection" completely or it won't start. I also think that the activation somehow disappeared because of Norton. Maybe a scan or perhaps when I started elephant one time with Norton's "data protection" on.

For now I'm still good and was able to reactivate again, but please provide a version of Elephant that works (better) with Norton. None of my other software had problems like this and I really don't like disabling part of my security.

Besides the above it's a great tool and worth a few headaches. Wink

Hello, really sorry but I cant solve the problem with your antivirus, my software dont do any thing put on risk your computer or computer of any user.
As you can see in the forum is a problem isolated with your setup and your AV, anyway you should check in the manual of your AV  how white list exe, and white list elephant executable, maybe that helps.
I wont change how the software is protected just because the Norton provide false alarm, apologize but that wont happens.
Maybe this affect all Norton users,  in that case users of Norton should contact to they paid AV for complaint about false alarm and they should fix and or provide the tools to handle false alarms in proper way.  Hoppe you understand, I wont expose the integrity of my software just for a false alarm of third party software. Please apologize, I no want sound arrogant, but is how things are.
