[Solved] Installation stalls at demo. Windows 10 64bit.

I can see the folder and files including elephant.exe in /hi computer/elephant. So it looks like it is installed but not sure why the installer wont release and confirm installation.

Hello, really sorry but not understand 100% what you explain..... for sure, nobody report a issue like this. 
Can we schedule a remote session trough Team Viewer?
Based on what I read is like the installer stuck in the process of install in your machine, that not is a common issue and I need check  that, otherwise I cant debug what cant be reproduced (at least here or by other users). Please confirm about Team Viewer. 
Anyway! question:
After run the installer and reboot the machine, can use Elephant software?
Please provide more info.

Not a common problem, can be useful for any other user under this situation.

I have a similar failure that is happening. I had it working fine and then I booted up today to find the menu unavailable after startup. There is a consistent flicker that happens to the desktop icons after startup and then no response from Elephant. using the newest version of elephant / 64bit windows. I literally bought the surface dial because of this software and need it running again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, lets try to fix this.

1- is your windows user, admin user?

If not, please setup your user as admin.

2- is the Eelephant softwate configured to atomatic run at start up?

If  yes, try disable. Uninstall the software install again. Not enable run at starup.

Waiting for your repply and comments. Unfortunately users report  a similar issue never come back to inform how they solv the problem.

I am admin but I am now opening the software as admin on each use - WORKING (this was not necessary before but I don't mind as this works)

Ok that is great I suppose is the way how the other users already fixed, setting up windows user as admin.

I am having the same issue.  Installed as administrative user, ran as administrative user.  Never get to see the demo.  Task manager shows Elephant application running, but no UI, no tray icon, no configuration points.

Was there any resolution to this?

Hi Rob, you follow the instructions step by step?
After the software open not show any kind of interface, only show a interface if you call the UI, what can be done trough the dial or by default with escape key.

Followed the instructions.  Disabled various display elements (shadows under windows, mouse cursor, etc. under Advanced System Settings | Performance | Visual Effects). Tried running installer as Admin.  Ran installer in Compatibility Mode Windows 8. Ran compatibility troubleshooter against installed application.

Not sure what worked, but now I have the UI and can configure settings.  Never saw the demo though.

The prerequisites inform you need user as administrator, and also software running as admin.
I think that is what work for you like all other users.
