Hey there!

I have a very useful idea that would come in handy for touchscreen producing and various other software applications.

The ability to toggle a switch to assign from midi to controlling buttons on your keyboard making touch hotkeys.

Your DAW and any other software has hotkeys mapped to the keyboard but sometimes we don't use all of them or have use for an entire keyboard and mapping transport controls is a pain so it would be perfect to be able to create hotkey buttons for example. Map the space bar that plays and pauses or R is record in my case so that can be mapped to make a button to record.  The F number commands and combo hot keys such as ctrl. alt. shift plus another key and this can be mapped to whatever button created. On the same note mapping a Jogwheel to scroll like a mouse.

Having the ability to do this would make a flawless workflow for touch screen production

I hope you consider this.

Cheers! ?
